Rainbow Party: How to Color Your Birthday

Aren't rainbows just the best? All the colors, the perfect storm it takes to make them, and the beauty that comes with it! We just adore rainbows here at Dark Ideals Decor, so we figured we would give you some tips on how to build your next rainbow party to be better than your most colorful dreams. 

When it comes to throwing any party, there are a few things to consider. 

• What's the purpose of the party? If you're throwing a party, you should know the purpose. Birthday? Over the hill? Cthulhu is coming to eat the world so you're having one last get together before the end ? 
• What's the theme? If you're here, we're going to guess it's rainbows! If it's not, this post may still be informative for you, but we might wonder why you're reading a post about rainbow parties if that isn't the theme of your party ;) (we don't judge though, we read party themed blog posts for fun -- maybe you do too!)
• What's your budget? Yeah, even we have budgets for our parties! Don't break your bank trying to throw a party, make sure you're ensuring it's affordable for you. Parties are fun, but so is electricity in your home and having a place to live.
• What type of decorations will you need? Pinata? Streamers? Balloon arch or just standard balloons? Tassel garlands? Rosettes? There are SO MANY party decor options, and as amazing as they all are, you probably don't need all of them. Make a list! Figure out what you need to get before you shop, to ensure you follow that budget we just talked about! :)
• What's your timeline? Here are Dark Ideals, we are happy to try and work with you if you're on a time crunch, but it might be best to plan for ordering decor and other things a little further ahead than 1 week out. (Our social media person can say with confidence, as she has the bad habit of waiting last minute to plan parties, that it will NOT work out the way we all hoped). Depending on our order volume, we might not be able to accommodate time crunched orders as well as we would hope, so it is recommended that you order at least 2-3 weeks ahead of the party to get the decor, if not further ahead. It's important to consider that products may not work how you would like, or things could get damaged in transport, and you might need additional time to exchange or return things, or come up with new ideas! Time is everything when it comes to parties and party planning!
